- Fact-based communication: Always check your information before sharing it. Avoid spreading false information or unverified content that could damage our credibility. Link to a source as much as possible.
- Constructive Dialogue: Encourage healthy discussions with those who question or challenge our movement. Show empathy, remain factual.
- Support Members: Help others migrate to ethical platforms and share resources to ease the transition. Offer your help to those who are less familiar with the process, in particular to help them download the X/Twitter archive of their personal data.
- Stay Coordinated: Follow community updates and align your actions with the overall goals of #HelloQuitX. Share important messages and amplify community hashtags.
- Promote Ethical Platforms: Focus on alternatives that favour freedom, transparency and user control. Avoid promoting platforms that reproduce harmful practices.
- Non-Violence and Positivity: Refrain from promoting or participating in actions that are harmful to X or its users. Our aim is to build, not destroy.
- Protect Privacy: doxxing, spamming or harassment is to be avoided, even towards those who oppose our movement. Protecting privacy is at the heart of our mission.
